Herbivorous Acres

It all began on July 4th 2016. It was just a couple of goofballs enjoying each other’s company. Marie started talking about her dream of having a farm sanctuary some day but it wouldn’t be for many years down the road. Not soon after that, Aubry started talking about the same dream. The lightbulb turned on! And of course Marie started getting teary-eyed. Marie and Aubry’s dreams weren’t so far away.

We hit the ground running. It was only a few weeks later that the paperwork started getting completed and on September 1st, 2016 Herbivorous Acres was incorporated as a nonprofit in the State of MN! We started working on the IRS form 1023 in order to get our 501(c)(3) status.
